I first saw this type of facemask worn by celebrities like Heart Evangelista and Olivia Palermo. I was searching for a similar, flowy, and elegant scarf facemask within my city to no avail. So then I figured why not try to make them myself?

SILQUE was born out of my wanting to look and feel good about myself amidst this pandemic. It was my way of accepting the situation we're in and accepting the fact that this might go on for quite a bit. While we all want this situation to be over, we have our own ways of coping and adjusting our lifestyles to make the situation a bit more bearable as we start going back out into the world. So just to help people like me, who are looking for a more fashionable and eco-friendly alternative to our good-old disposable clinical mask, SILQUE came into fruition.
